After Schoool

About us

After Schoool was born from a simple conviction: every student deserves quality support in a caring environment.

Our story

With over 20 years of experience in international schools, we wanted to create something different. Not a lesson factory, but a place where every student is seen, heard, and genuinely supported.

After Schoool is where the academic rigour of international schools meets the warmth of personalised support. The three O's in our name? They evoke eyes wide open to the world — and the smile that goes with it.

Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, we are above all a family. This project has been taking shape for several years, driven by a shared ambition: to offer a different way of learning. Still teaching in international schools and parents ourselves, we draw on this dual experience to design lessons that are demanding, engaging, and deeply tailored to each child's needs.

It is by combining our perspectives — as education professionals and as parents — that we build an approach which places the child at the heart of their learning, with care, warmth, and high aspirations.

Céline HAZLEWOOD

Céline HAZLEWOOD

English teacher20+ years of experience

Céline comes from a Franco-British family and grew up between France and the United Kingdom, where she also completed her studies. Trained in education and holding two master's degrees in the field, she has been teaching English for over twenty years in international schools, in France and abroad, and is currently based in Paris.

Drawing on her own background and having lived in several English-speaking countries — including England, the United States, and Australia — she has a deep understanding of the challenges multilingual children and teenagers face. Her teaching philosophy is built on a fundamental balance: combining high standards, warmth, enjoyment, and discovery.

Passionate about English language and Anglophone cultures, she aims to pass on far more than knowledge: a love of learning, an openness to the world, and the confidence to thrive in a multicultural and multilingual society.
