General Terms of Enrolment

Version 1.0 — September 2026

The French version of these Terms is the legally binding version. This English translation is provided for convenience only.

These General Terms of Enrolment (hereinafter "the Terms") govern the relationship between Afterschoool SAS (hereinafter "the Company") and any person wishing to enrol in its courses (hereinafter "the Client"). Enrolment constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

Article 1 — Definitions

The Company: AFTERSCHOOOL SAS, provider of the tutoring service.

The Student: The individual receiving the tutoring sessions.

The Group: A group of no more than 6 Students per session and per subject — a founding principle of the service.

The Period: The teaching period chosen by the Client: Term 1, Term 2, Term 3 or Full Year.

The Venue: The partner premises made available for the delivery of courses.

Article 2 — Description of the Service

2.1 Subjects offered

Afterschoool offers in-person tutoring sessions in the following subjects:

  • Mathematics — taught by Anthony Lezin

Courses cover the French national curriculum as well as international IB and IGCSE programmes, from secondary school through to pre-university level.

2.2 Format

  • Groups of no more than 6 Students — a non-negotiable principle ensuring pedagogical quality.
  • Courses delivered in person at the partner venue.
  • Each enrolled Student receives access to the AfterSchooolab e-learning platform (afterschooolab.com) as part of their enrolment.

2.3 Timetable

Session timetables are set by the Company at the start of each Period and communicated to Clients upon enrolment. The Company reserves the right to adjust timetables where necessary, with reasonable prior notice.

2.4 Group size

The Company reserves the right to maintain a group with fewer than 6 Students if it deems this pedagogically appropriate. No refund will be granted on the grounds that a group is not full.

Article 3 — Enrolment

3.1 Process

Enrolment is formalised by signing an enrolment contract and paying the full amount for the chosen Period. Enrolment is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

3.2 Contract

An enrolment contract is signed between the Company and the Client for each Period. This contract specifies the subject, timetable, duration and amount paid.

3.3 Availability

Enrolments are accepted subject to availability within each group. The Company reserves the right to refuse an enrolment if a group is full or if the Student's profile is not compatible with the existing group.

5.2 Due dates

Payment is due at the time of enrolment, in full for the chosen Period. No instalment plan is available unless expressly agreed in writing by the Company.

A receipt or invoice is issued to the Client for each payment, specifying the nature of the service, the Period covered and the amount paid.

5.4 Tax provisions

The Company is exploring the possibility of implementing arrangements that may allow families to benefit from tax advantages related to educational expenses.

Article 6 — Cancellations and Refunds

6.1 Cancellation by the Client

Any teaching Period for which payment has been made is due in full. No refund is granted for sessions not attended by the Student, regardless of the reason. By way of exception, the Company may grant a partial refund or a credit, at its sole discretion, in cases of duly evidenced force majeure. All requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

6.2 Cancellation of a session by the Company

In the event of a session being cancelled by the Company, the Company will endeavour to arrange a make-up session where possible. Where a make-up session is not possible, a credit will be offered to the Client.

6.3 Right of withdrawal

In accordance with applicable consumer protection law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period. However, if no session has yet taken place, the Client may withdraw within 14 days of signing the enrolment contract, by written request to [email protected].

Article 7 — Client Obligations

  • Notify the Company as soon as possible of any foreseeable absence.
  • Ensure the Student maintains respectful behaviour towards teachers and fellow group members.
  • Pay enrolment fees within the required timeframe.
  • Notify the Company of any change in circumstances likely to affect the delivery of courses.

The Company reserves the right to exclude from the group any Student whose behaviour disrupts sessions, following an initial warning. No refund will be granted in such cases.

The Company undertakes to deliver quality teaching provided by qualified and experienced teachers. It holds Professional Liability Insurance covering its teaching activities.

8.2 Liability during sessions
